Sierra Origins was born between two worlds, the mountains that shaped our childhood in Bolivia and the life we built in Switzerland. We are a family owned business led by two brothers who grew up surrounded by the aroma of fresh coffee, the stories of local farmers and a deep respect for the land.
We are not a corporation.
We are not distant intermediaries.
We are people with roots in the producing regions and professional experience in the market where your coffee will be enjoyed.
Our mission is simple but meaningful,
to create a transparent and reliable bridge between Bolivian coffee producers and roasters in Switzerland and Europe.
We believe in fair relationships, honest communication and long term partnerships where everyone wins.
Sierra Origins started with a realization, followed by a frustration, and ultimately a purpose.
Each time we returned to Bolivia, we saw incredible producers with exceptional coffees that never reached international markets. Not because they lacked quality, quite the opposite, but because they lacked access and a trustworthy export path.
At the same time, roasters in Switzerland told us the same thing again and again:
“We would love to source Bolivian coffee, but we have no dependable channel.”
That gap was too big to ignore.
We decided to use what we did have,

We work only with producers we know personally. We visit their farms, understand their processes and collaborate on quality improvements. We pay fair prices that support long term growth instead of short term survival. When producers thrive, quality rises and everyone benefits.
2. Radical Traceability
Every lot comes with real information, not curated marketing. Name of the farm, altitude, process, harvest details, cupping data and full traceability. We do not romanticize origin, we respect it.

We break down our costs and pricing for every sale. You always know what you are paying for, how value is distributed across the supply chain, and how your purchase supports the producers behind it. Transparency is not a slogan for us, it is a commitment we prove with every transaction.
From quality control to consolidation, export logistics and documentation, we operate with precision and professionalism. Roasters in Switzerland expect accountability and consistency, and we make sure every shipment reflects those standards.
We want Bolivian coffee to take the place it deserves in the specialty world. We want to empower our producers with global opportunities, education and financial stability. And we want roasters to access an origin that is still undiscovered but extraordinary.
Samaipata is an emerging specialty coffee region in the Santa Cruz department of Bolivia, located in the Andean foothills at 1,600–1,800 m elevation. The climate is temperate and semi-dry, with warm days, cool nights, and strong diurnal shifts.

Caranavi is the heart of Bolivian coffee production, often called Bolivia’s “coffee capital". Situated in the Yungas region of the La Paz department, its elevation ranges from 1,000 to 1,800 m.
